Other information regarding our limited reopening can be found below.

Will I have to wait in line to get in?
While we do not anticipate needing to do so, we will have limited capacity for all libraries in order to allow for proper physical distancing for the safety of you and library staff, so it is possible staff will require you to wait until there is adequate space inside.

Can I make a reservation to come at a specific time?
Because we do not anticipate reaching current building capacity limits, we are not accepting reservations at this time.

Am I limited to how long I can be in the library?
Yes. Every patron is allowed to stay in the library for a maximum of 1 hour per day, to allow for limited computer use and/or sufficient time to locate materials and check them out.

Are computers available?
Limited computers will be available in most locations, with a 1 hour/1 session maximum use allowance per day.

Can I bring my own computer or laptop?
All locations will have limited or no seating available in order to keep library usage to a minimum. While you can bring in your own device, there will be no place to sit or plug in, and you will still be limited to the one-hour maximum time limit.

Are masks/face coverings still required?
Yes, masks or face coverings are still required for both library staff and patrons. If you forgot to bring your mask, staff can provide you with one. Please note that face shields cannot be used as a substitute for a cloth face mask or covering, as outlined in the California Department of Public Health Face Covering Guidance.
